Please join us for Sunday Service, Nov. 3, at 10:00 am, in person and on FaceBook Live. Lesson by Michael Small, Minister Assistant, music with Todd Lowry and the Unity SoulShine Band, Sharon Eldridge, drums and Brian Griesmeyer, guitar and vocals, soloist, Bill Brooks.
Also, the first Sunday of the month is Potluck Sunday, bring a dish to share! It is also birthday Sunday when we honor all of the month's birthdays.
I believe our family rules should always include keeping promises, saying you're sorry and forgiving each other, saying your prayers, always doing your best, giving hugs, being grateful, and laughing
often. But how often are we truly grateful? And does being grateful mean that we’re always happy—or is it the other way around? Can we be grateful even when happiness feels distant?
This week’s message is about finding gratefulness in the smallest blessings all around us as we move into Thanksgiving month. How can we stay rooted in gratitude when surrounded by chaos? Many have told me this is the darkest they’ve seen this nation, but I believe all of us have experienced dark times in our lives. The real question is: how do we grow from those times, how do we heal, and how do we find the blessings within each of those dark moments that can alter the course of our lives?
That’s what we’ll be exploring in this week’s message, and I hope to see you all on Sunday.
