“The foundation of Unity is as an educational movement. Through the study of the Laws of Truth we learn to apply them so that they will dissolve our adverse beliefs and conditions and enable us to life a life of 'practical spirituality'. In other words, we examine the teachings of Jesus and other great teachers and learn how to use them in our daily lives.”

Through Unity, Rev Geo embraces a flexible spirituality uncommon in traditional organized religion. He envisions spiritual community beyond the boundaries and limitations of what was once known as “church.” The transformative power of God is present in all of life, and can best be realized through the principles of diversity, inclusivity, and Oneness.
Glenda grew up in Unity. When she was five, her family began attending Unity Temple in Detroit, Michigan. When the family moved to Albuquerque in 1959, they continued with what was then called Christ Unity. Over the years she participated in Youth of Unity and was a YFM teacher. After retiring from a family business in 2017, she was looking for a new career opportunity and responded to an ad for Unity Spiritual Center Albuquerque. It seemed like a perfect fit. She views the role of Office Manager as one of facilitating and collaborating with staff, congregants and others to help make Unity Spiritual Center the best possible place to be.
