Join us for a delightful day exploring the Valle Grande! We’ll leave the church at 9:15 and caravan to the park. Activities include a visit to the Historic Cabin District, and if permits are available when we arrive a drive into the backside of the caldera. The road is a smooth gravel road. This is a good trip for people of all skills and abilities! The Valle Grande is at over 8,000 ft. altitude, this may be a challenge for those with breathing problems. Weather can drop quickly into the low 50’s and 40’s and rain is possible. dress accordingly. Bring a picnic lunch. IMPORTANT: RSVP if you are planning to take part in this hike: office@abqunity.org .
