What is a Taize Service? It is a simple, meditative form of worship, calling us to dwell deeply on Christ's presence around and within us. Prayerful silence,short readings aand music guide the focus of prayer in a candle-lit environment. Founded in 1940 by Brother Roger in Taize, France, the community helped many refugees during World War II. One of its main purposes today is service to young people.
