          Two weeks ago we met Myrtle Fillmore's daring belief. Last week we learned how she prayed.    This Sunday, October 18 — "There Is No Lack" — we take on the thing most of us worry about more than anything else: supply. Money. Enough-ness.

          Fair warning: this is not the sermon you think it is. Myrtle's prosperity teaching isn't "think rich thoughts and get rich." It's stranger and deeper: your prosperity comes through you, not to you. We'll hear what Jesus actually said about supply (there's a verse about lilies that changes everything), what Charles Fillmore meant by "divine substance," and honestly, where Unity draws the line at the prosperity gospel. Plus a look at what science actually says about gratitude and generosity.

Myrtle Fillmore Trivia:

In 1936 Charles Fillmore published Prosperity — still in print, still the classic Unity text on supply. Its twelve chapters include "Spiritual Substance, the Fundamental Basis of the Universe," "God Will Pay Your Debts," and "Tithing, the Road to Prosperity."

          The core idea for the book came from Myrtle: you are "the inlet and outlet of Divine Mind" — supply flows through you, not to you. And the guardrail, pure Fillmore: anyone using the knowledge of invisible supply merely to get things for himself "will be disappointed."
