Please join us for Sunday Service at 10 am in person and on FaceBook Live. This Sunday, May 26th, is our special Peace Sunday, featuring our Music Team (Music Team: pictured left to right: David Craig, Brian Griesmeyer, Sharon Eldridge, and Todd Lowry, Music Director), plus Lesley Goddin, Kaylin Devi Rose, and Martyne Backman!

Dear Unity Family,
This Monday, the United States pauses to remember and honor all who have sacrificed their lives for the cause of freedom. We will hear speeches, say prayers, lay wreaths, hold parades, and, yes, see stores offer sales. Then, life resumes as usual until next Memorial Day.
No one doubts the importance of honoring those who gave their lives for our country and the ideal of freedom. However, we might consider more profound ways to honor their ultimate sacrifice.
My uncle served in General George Patton’s division during WWII. As a child, I often read the division's newsletters he had saved. One day, I stumbled upon an interview with General Patton, and a particular line resonated with me: “…the dream of every true soldier, is that there comes a day when there will be no more need for soldiers.”
Perhaps the highest honor we can bestow is to use our freedoms to foster a world at peace—a world where there is no need for armies or war.
This Sunday, we will honor Memorial Day through a unique musical service dedicated to creating an energy of peace. Todd and the music team have crafted a special program that differs from our regular Sunday celebration. Join us in commemorating this day with a heartfelt tribute to those who have given everything, while envisioning a future where their sacrifices lead to lasting peace.
See you Sunday!
Gordon
