We offer a classroom for youth that utilizes art, creativity, and fun to create an environment where each child leaves knowing they are a perfect child of God.

Our program for younger children is fun and enriching. USCABQ has a combined teen program for middle schoolers and high schoolers (Uniteens and Y.O.U), giving high schoolers the opportunity to lead the lessons and learn leadership skills while acting as peer role models for the middle schoolers.

We have fun outside of USCABQ, too -- monthly movie nights, lock-in sleepovers at USCABQ, group outings to Cliff's Amusement Park. Check our Events to see what our next adventure is. Our teens are active in regional Unity events and travel to retreats in nearby states for fun-filled weekends.

MEET OUR YOUTH AND FAMILY MINISTRY DIRECTOR

Tifani Vincent has been supporting children, youth, and families for over 2 decades as a preschool teacher, Sunday school teacher, milieu counselor, spiritual life coach, mentor, youth director, parent educator, event coordinator, and co-creator in many communities. She comes to us as a college graduate, community leader, child advocate, reiki practitioner, sound alchemist, and single parent of an amazing 16 year old. Tifani holds a passion for supporting individuals in their spiritual development, and could not be more grateful to get to hold space for children within the loving and fun Unity Community.

MEET OUR YOUTH OF UNITY (Y.O.U.) TEEN GROUP DIRECTOR

Barbara Bilobran is the Head Y.O.U./Uniteens Sponsor at Unity Spiritual Center Albuquerque. She grew up attending Unity in California. Barbara has been attending USC Albuquerque with her family since 2012 when they moved to New Mexico from Boston. Y.O.U. is near and dear to Barbara’s heart since she was actively involved in her own Y.O.U. chapter throughout high school and was a Regi. In addition to volunteering with our teens, Barbara is a licensed clinical social worker and has her own therapy private practice working with teens, adults, and volunteers at her local elementary school.

Important Update for Parents & Responsible Adults - Nov. 2024

As our Youth & Family Ministry continues to grow, we have recently reviewed and updated our policies to ensure the highest standards of safety for our children. We are implementing the following changes:

  • Sign-In Procedure: Parents or guardians will now be asked to sign their child into the classroom at the start of Sunday service. (This does not apply to Youth of Unity members ages 14 and up.)

  • Pick-Up Process: At the end of the service, the congregation will sing the children out, after which they will return to their classrooms for pickup. (This also does not apply to Youth of Unity members ages 14 and up.)

  • Annual Registration: We will be re-registering all children. Tifani and Barbara will provide the necessary forms, which will be completed at the start of each school year going forward.

We understand that paperwork can be tedious, but we hope you will join us in prioritizing the safety of our kids. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Gordon, Tifani, or Barbara. Thank you for your support!
