"The Gift of Being Present: Gratitude Is a Gift We Share"
Dear USCABQ Family,
As we approach Thanksgiving, I invite you to think about gratitude in
a slightly different way.
We often say, "I'm grateful for you," but how often do we stop and
truly tell someone why we're grateful for them?
Have you ever taken a moment to tell someone how their presence has
made a difference in your life? Perhaps they listened when you needed
someone, offered encouragement during a difficult time, or simply
reminded you that you were loved and valued.
Gratitude is more than something we feel. It's a gift we can give to
one another. When we express why someone matters to us, we remind them
that they are seen, appreciated, and loved.
This Sunday, November 1, I'll be sharing a message titled "The Gift of
Being Present." Together, we'll explore how gratitude helps us
recognize the everyday blessings around us, discover the Christ
within, and see the gifts we are to one another. And before I close, I want to say
something to each of you.
Thank you for being a gift in my life. I'm grateful for this spiritual
community, for the love and support we share, and for the many ways
you continue to teach me what it means to walk together in faith and
love. I hope you'll join us this Sunday as we discover that sometimes the
greatest gift we can give someone is simply telling them why we're
grateful they're part of our lives.
