We will explore the power of prayer through the life and teachings of Myrtle Fillmore, often called the Mother of Unity, whose healing journey helped give birth to the Unity movement and the prayer ministry that became Silent Unity.
We will also draw from the teachings of Rev. Linda Martella-Whitsett, who reminds us that prayer is not about pleading with a distant God but awakening to the divine Presence already within us.
And this Sunday is especially meaningful because we will also install and anoint our Unity Chaplain Team.
Our chaplains are a sacred part of our spiritual community. They serve through prayer, sacred listening, confidentiality, compassion, and the willingness to behold the Christ Presence in every person. They remind us that no one walks alone, and that God truly is our help in every circumstance.
This will be a beautiful Sunday of honoring, blessing, prayer, and sacred service.
Join us as we celebrate the heart that mothers, the heart that prays, and the heart that serves.
With love and blessings,
Rev. Gordon
