Sunday, April 12, our annual White Stone Ceremony will be during the service!

The White Stone Ceremony is a spiritual practice that embodies new beginnings. It is inspired by a passage in Revelation 2:17. The passage inspiring the White Stone Ceremony says, "whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says… I will give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it." In biblical times, released prisoners received a white stone. The Romans issued these stones to serve as proof that the person possessing the stone earned their freedom and rebirth into society. Inscribed on the stone was a new name to take into this new life.

The purpose of Unity's annual White Stone Ceremony is to ask your Higher Self to reveal a word or phrase that will guide you in the coming year. This “new name” becomes a cornerstone for building a stronger spiritual foundation upon which you can direct your life. This ceremony is a time for reflecting and asking yourself "What are my values and what word or words express what I wish to manifest?"
