Please join us for Sunday service at 10:00 a.m. in person and on Facebook live. Lesson by Rev. Gordon Keyler, music with Todd Lowry and the Unity Soulshine band
with vocalist, Bill Brooks, Sunday, July 6.
This week at Unity Spiritual Center, we’re celebrating freedom—not just as a national ideal, but as a spiritual truth.
Freedom from fear. Freedom from lack. Freedom from the illusion that we are anything less than divine. Freedom from the limiting ideas of what is possible.
In our ongoing exploration of miracles, we’re discovering that miracles aren’t just rare cosmic interruptions. They are natural expressions of a life lived in alignment with Spirit.
A miracle is what happens when we remember the truth: we are not bound by appearances—we are free in the light of who we truly are. As Kimberly Braun writes in Miracles in the Naked Light:
“The real miracle is not what shifts outside of us, but the recognition that we are not trapped inside ourselves.”
Last Sunday, I shared something that’s been stirring in my heart: We need more room—not just for Sunday services, but for support groups, healing practices, community events, classes, and youth programs. Just this week, one of our teens returning from Rally asked, “Why is our building so tiny?”
And the honest answer? It’s because, until now, we hadn’t fully envisioned the larger impact we’re being called to make on this city—and on the world.
But now we do. Now we imagine.
Imagine a sacred space with room for a meditation garden, a labyrinth, multiple classrooms, event spaces, and more.
Imagine offering after-school programs, addiction recovery meetings, food and clothing ministries, healing services, youth engagement, spiritual education—and yes, maybe even laundry services for the unhoused.
Can you feel it? Can you see it? If you can imagine it, then we are already more than halfway to the miracle.
We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the miracle manifesters.
So today, we declare our Spiritual Independence!
We are free to dream. Free to create. Free to live abundantly and joyfully.
And we are free to be the living, breathing, loving miracles the world has been waiting for.
Have you realized what we’re doing?
We’re not just learning how to live in the energy of miracles or how to manifest them for ourselves—we are stepping into the truth that the world is ready for a community of miracle workers. Albuquerque needs to know that Unity is here—to teach, to love, to serve, to heal.
It’s time for the miracle that Unity is… to become a miracle for our city. So come expecting good. Come open to possibility. Come ready to live in the energy of miracles.
We’ll see you Sunday—miracles await.
