Sunday, April 21, Lesson by guest speaker, Rev. Geo Downer, continuing The Four Principles of Prosperity series with The Principle of Forgiveness. Soloist, Bill Brooks.
Many of us have known the greatest commandment is to love God. Loving others and loving ourselves is nearly as important. Yet, another core teaching of an enriched spiritual life is forgiveness. Many of us understand forgiveness as a pardon, although there is a greater more profound depth of this spiritual practice. Throughout the ministry of many Master Teachers, forgiveness is referred to again and again. The discipline of forgiveness prepares us with the worthiness to accept our prosperity. Forgiving is how we love ourselves at a depth of divine worth.
With tithing as our primary step, we can then set goals to open a space for receiving abundance. Forgiveness provides an assurance of our own worthiness to be in the flow of prosperity.
